Friends of the School
The Friends of Radley CE Primary play a vital role in enhancing the educational experience for our children. Through their dedicated efforts, they have successfully raised over £22K for playground refurbishments, ensuring that our students have access to safe and engaging outdoor spaces. This fundraising not only enriches our school environment but also fosters a strong sense of community among parents, staff, and students alike. We encourage all parents to join this initiative and support our ongoing efforts to improve facilities for the benefit of our primary age children.

Who we are:
The parents’ and carers’ fundraising committee for Radley Primary School
Our mission:
To conduct fundraising activities to raise additional funds for projects and resources for the benefit of the school
Achievements:
The current Committee was formed in October 2021. Since this date, due to our fundraising success, we have been able to:
- set aside funds which will create ‘The Sanctuary’ (an area of calm and quiet) - £1,000
- set aside funds for the refurbishment of the library to help provide aesthetic improvements - £750
- cover the cost of the 2022, 2023 and 2024 pantomimes held in the school - £500 each
- provide funding to the Reading Ambassadors - £180
- set aside funds for new EYFS play equipment - £3,000
- helped towards the cost of the new play trail in the playground
- provide improvements to the old playground area e.g. resurfacing and line painting:
This was achieved due to the collective support and generosity of the families of Radley Primary School and our local community.
At present, we are fundraising to provide a contribution to:

- 18th December 2023: Christmas Raffle (raised £1,100)
- March 2024: Grant – Tescos – Groundworks UK (£1,000.00)
- 27th March 2024: Donations – Families – Evenlode Play (raised £74.50)
- 28th March 2024: Radley Primary School Bake Sale (raised £260.81)
- April 2024: Donation – The Sanghera Foundation £3,000.00
- April 2024: Donation – The Bowyers Arms – The Good Friday Walk £295.52
- May 2024: Donation – New College Oxford £50.00
- May 2024: Donation – Bellway £500.00
- May 2024: Donation - Redrow Builders £500.00
- 26th May 2024: Sarah's Jump (raised £1,500.00 so far!)
- 3rd June 2024: Radley College Bake Sale (raised £740.26)

- 21st June 2024: Ice Pop & Plant Sale (raised £201.23)
- 13th July 2024: Summer Fete and Flower show
