Welcome to our vibrant nursery designed for 3 and 4 year olds.
Our nursery is committed to providing a safe and supportive starting point for your child as they begin their school journey. We understand that each child is different and develops at their own pace in their own way. We believe in getting to know each child as an individual, recognising and celebrating their unique strengths and learning styles and supporting all to achieve their best outcomes.
Children are welcomed into an enriching and purposeful learning environment where curiosity, exploration and creativity are encouraged. We value the importance of play and provide plenty of opportunities for the children to pursue their own ideas, discover their interests and develop their knowledge with the support of trained Early Years staff.
At Radley nursery we believe in laying strong foundations for literacy and numeracy skills, starting with an engaging introduction to phonics. Through our phonics scheme Read Write Inc, children take part in a range of speaking and listening activities and explore different sounds, paving the way for confident early reading and writing skills in the summer term. We strive to promote a love of reading by providing a language rich environment where children have daily opportunities to experience the pleasure of reading and sharing books. We also have our own nursery library where children are encouraged to choose books to take home and share with their loved ones. Our nursery environment is rich in mathematical experiences and tools. Whether it's measuring ingredients in the sandpit or sorting shapes in the classroom, every activity is an opportunity for children to gain a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts.
We are proud of the relationships we build with our families and value communication between staff and parents very highly. We encourage an open dialogue between home and school to ensure we understand and meet your child's individual needs and interests. In working in partnership with our families we hope to provide the best start to your child's educational career.
We encourage you to come and visit our setting and look forward to meeting you!
