Vision & Values

Jesus said, I come to give life - life in all its fullness
John 10:10

We believe that we can all live life in its fullness, and we are committed to creating an environment where all can thrive and reach their full potential.
Living life in all its fullness means to experience a rich and fulfilling education that goes beyond academic achievement. Thereby providing all children with opportunities to develop their talents, explore their interests, and discover their passions.

In our everyday school lives, our vision translates into several key aspects:

  • Academic:  We strive to provide high-quality teaching and learning experiences that challenge and inspire our students. We want them to develop a strong foundation in core subjects like English, maths, and science, while at the same time nurturing their creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  •  Holistic:  We recognise that education is not just about academics. We aim to nurture the whole child by promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being. We provide a range of activities to help students explore their interests and develop their talents.
  •  Character: We believe in the importance of instilling strong values and character. Through the Radley R’s we promote kindness and empathy in relationships, respect and resilience, teaching our students to be responsible citizens who contribute positively to their community.
  •  Inclusion and Diversity:  We celebrate the uniqueness of each individual and foster an inclusive and supportive environment where everyone feels equally valued and respected. We embrace diversity and teach our students to appreciate and learn from different cultures, backgrounds, and perspectives.
  •  Partnerships:  We encourage parent involvement in their child's education and encourage their participation in school life. We continue to develop partnerships that enrich the learning experiences of our students and actively seek opportunities to engage with the local community.

By embracing this vision, we aim to empower our students to become confident, lifelong learners who are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to make a positive impact on the world around them.

 Links with the Church

As a Church of England school, we have strong links with St James the Great Church in Radley enjoying end-of-term services and festivals in the church with our parents and friends. Rev Rob Glenny leads many of these services for us.
