Welcome

As the Headteacher of Radley CE Primary School, I am proud to welcome you to our vibrant and family-focused growing school. We are a voluntary aided primary school, rooted in the Christian values that underpin our ethos and guide our work.

Radley CE Primary is a small, friendly village school with a big heart. Our classrooms are bright and airy, providing a nurturing environment where our pupils can thrive and reach their full potential. We are committed to delivering a rich and fulfilling education that goes beyond academic achievement, allowing all children to explore their interests, discover their passions, and develop their unique talents.

Our school has recently grown from a half-form to a one-form entry, reflecting the increasing popularity of our community. We are proud to offer a family feel, with caring staff who know each child as an individual. Our strong links with the local St James the Great church are an integral part of our identity, and our 'Radley R's' - Resilience, Respect, and Relationships - are the values that shape our daily life.

"Jesus said, 'I come to give life - life in all its fullness.'" (John 10:10) This biblical verse lies at the heart of our vision, as we strive to create an environment where all can experience the fullness of life through a rich and varied education.

Located on the edge of Abingdon, our school benefits from a wonderful village setting with plenty of green space for our pupils to explore and play. We are a fun, friendly, and vibrant place to learn, with excellent academic results and a strong commitment to the wellbeing of every child.

In addition to our engaging curriculum, we are pleased to offer wraparound care, ensuring that our families can access the support they need. We welcome prospective parents to come and see our school in action, to experience the warm, inclusive atmosphere that defines Radley CE Primary.

I look forward to welcoming you to our school community and supporting your child's journey towards a fulfilling and enriching education.

Yours sincerely,

Mrs Claire Thomas
